Chief Executive Mark Jenkins today praised Albion fans who are on course to out-strip the last campaign’s season-ticket sales for the 2018/19 challenge.
Supporters have backed the appointment of Darren Moore as Head Coach and responded to the Club’s reduced prices with already 15,000 renewals and new sales.
That puts the figures almost 1,000 ahead at the same stage last year with sales on course to go past the total number for last season’s Premier League football.
On Monday, season tickets are back on general sale and Mark has thanked fans for their positive response to a renewed era of optimism at The Hawthorns.
“Albion fans are as loyal a group as exists anywhere and I’m delighted but not surprised by this response,” said Mark.
“For them to have bought more tickets than they did at the same stage last summer shows their commitment to Darren and the Club.
“The Hawthorns was bouncing in the latter stages of last season and we are all hoping that we will experience more of that when the new season gets underway."
