#CALLITOUT18

WEST Bromwich Albion continued to aid football's quest for equality at Pride in Football's #CALLITOUT event in Nottingham on Saturday.

Proud Baggies, our official LGBT+ supporters' group, represented the Club at Nottingham Forest's City Ground to encourage continued inclusion in the beautiful game.

Over 40 like-minded fan groups from across the UK came together at #CALLITOUT18 to respond to LGBT+ phobia in football and explore new ways to promote equality.

Lifelong Albion fan, and Proud Baggies founder, Piero Zizzi was delighted to fly the rainbow flag for the Baggies at the event. And he's grateful that the club he loves continues to assist Pride in Football in their attempt to curb homophobic and transphobic abuse in football stadia.

"We're delighted to be here representing West Bromwich Albion," Piero smiled.

"Our club has a rich history of being pioneers of diversity. And since we set up Proud Baggies we've had nothing but support from Albion fans and the Club itself.

"We're really grateful for it. And we can't stress just how important a role it plays in taking us forward."
