JAMES Morrison is in line to play his first football in an Albion shirt for 10 months tomorrow in the pre-season friendly at Swindon.
Fans’ favourite ‘Mozza’ came through training in Scotland this week with flying colours and Head Coach Darren Moore will be looking to ease him back into action with some game time at the Energy Check County Ground.
Fans planning to travel to the friendly can expect a little extra value for money as both camps have agreed to play two 60-minute matches and Albion will be fielding separate X1s for each.
Mozza will be an additional midfield option from the group who played at Barnet last week as will Jake Livermore, back from his extended break having trained in Scotland.
But keeper Sam Johnstone will again be held back in order to get more training under his belt.
Darren says: “Swindon always provide a good test and it will be good to give the boys the chance to stretch their legs.
“It will be a difficult game which is what we want while at the same time we can look at some of the bits and pieces that we have been bringing to the players for game situations.
“I know Phil Brown (Swindon manager) really well, a really experienced manager who will have his team well set-up, and we are really looking forward to the game after a good week’s work.”
