Pardew issues battle cry

ALAN Pardew is calling on Albion fans to create a cauldron of noise at The Hawthorns tomorrow - but insists he has no right to ask for more from the Baggies faithful.

Pardew’s men have received boisterous support in recent weeks and were carried to a late point against Arsenal in their last outing on Black Country soil.

And the Head Coach has asked for more of the same from the Club’s loyal band of followers when the Baggies play host to Brighton (ko 3pm).

“I haven’t got a Premier League win here with these players, I really like this group of players, and I’m desperate for them to win,” said Pardew.

“I’m doing everything I can to try to put ideas and thoughts into them that they can exercise and give our fans something to cheer about.

“Our fans have been incredibly patient.

“We’re trying to get the fans in a good place.

“We’re begging them, really, we haven’t got a right to with the results we’ve had, but I’m begging them to come up and make a lot of noise and hopefully we’ll deliver what they want.”
