ALBION's under-18s were defeated 7-0 by defending champions Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup fourth round.
The Blues took the lead on 10 minutes when Marc Guehi found space from a corner and guided a header into the back of the net.
The Baggies almost got themselves level 16 minutes later when Rekeem Harper let fly from distance, but his shot smashed the post and bounced away.
Chelsea then scored twice more before half time through Callum Hudson-Odoi's individual effort and Daishawn Redan's toe-poke, though Callum Morton went close for Albion when he flashed a shot wide.
With 49 minutes gone Redan tapped in from close range to put the home side even further ahead, and Hudson-Odoi completed his brace three minutes later.
Faustino Anjorin then got in on the action for Chelsea on 59 minutes before substitute Martell Taylor Crossdale rounded off the scoreline in stoppage time.
ALBION: Przybek, Soleman, Ferguson, Healy, Harmon; Tulloch (Meredith 58), Harper, Wilding, Clayton-Phillips (Rogers 90); Azaz (Brown 77), Morton.
