HAROLD Pearson made his debut as Albion’s goalkeeper in the 3-0 win over South Shields at The Hawthorns, thereby following in the footsteps of his father Hubert who had been a part of the League Championship winning side of 1919/20.
Harold went on to win the FA Cup and play for England, completing the Pearson family’s set of medals and honours.
