Johnstone on Rotherham shut-out

SAM Johnstone insists he will always value points over clean sheets despite leading the Baggies to a second shut-out of the season at Rotherham.

The Baggies stopper made a series of fine saves - and survived a late penalty scare - to keep the Albion resistance in tact at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

"I'm delighted of course," he smiled.

"We've not had many clean sheets this season."

"I thought 'here we go' when the referee pointed to the spot.

"Fortunately it's hit the post and come back out.

"Brunty asked me 'what's the secret?'" with Johnstone yet to concede from four penalties this campaign.

"I really don't know! I'm just grateful we've held on.

"Obviously the three points is what really matters but we're happy we've played well and got the clean sheet.

"There's plenty of games coming up so let's take this into the Christmas period."
