ALBION Under-18s beat Fulham 2-1 in their final Premier League Cup group game at Palm Training Ground.
The young Baggies went ahead on 26 minutes thanks to Stanley Asomugha’s curler, though Fulham’s Sylvester Jasper equalised before half-time.
Shortly after the break Louie Barry fired Albion back in front, and that was the way it stayed despite both sides going close to an all-important fourth goal.
The result means that Mike Scott’s side have finished third in Group D, only behind second-place Arsenal on goal difference.
ALBION: Cann, Hickman-Gardner, Taylor, Hill, Delaney (Williams 86), Ojebode, Brown (Smith 63), King, Thorndike (Gilbert 59), Asomugha, Barry.
