Albion played their first ever fixture in the Premier League, going north to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford, watched by a crowd of 67,645 in bright sunshine.
Albion’s day out was spoiled when Derek McInnes was given a red card for a second half tackle, and then late on when Solskjaer won the match for the hosts.
