Moore delighted with ‘ruthless’ Albion

DARREN Moore has heaped praise on his players for their “ruthless” finishing as the Baggies fired a magnificent seven on home turf.

Albion netted six second-half goals to brush aside Steve McClaren’s men 7-1 at The Hawthorns - extending the Club's unbeaten run to four games in the process.

And our Head Coach described his side’s display as “complete”, extending his positive feedback to the Club’s supporters.

“The boys were ruthless today and showed a real cutting edge, when the chances came along we were able to put it in the back of the net,” said Darren.

“Once you get to 3-1 the game becomes that bit easier and people settle down.

“It turned out to be a complete performance. That said, even though the scoreline was what it was we know we still have work to do.

“There’s things we can get better at and things we will get better at but based on today we are very, very pleased.

He added: “Thank you to the fans for getting behind the team today - for persevering and staying with us. The encouragement was there.

“I’m pleased for our fans because they are part of this and they play a huge part in it.

“We’re pleased to be sending everyone home happy.”
