Interviews

'Let your voices be heard'

DARREN Moore has issued a rallying call to Albion supporters.

In a passionate interview with WBA TV, our Head Coach has urged the Hawthorns faithful to be their usual, raucous selves when the curtain is lifted on the Sky Bet Championship season tomorrow.

The Baggies host Bolton Wanderers with Darren at the helm for the first time as Head Coach.

And he wants everyone in blue-and-white to be right behind him. Not that he expects anything less.

"I'm really looking forward to the game, the stadium, the atmosphere, the great team we have, the great supporters and the positive energy around the place," he smiled.

"I thank the supporters who've bought season tickets in their numbers. For those who are going to be there on Saturday, we value your support.

"Get right behind the team and let's make The Hawthorns the place it's been in seasons past - joyful and positive.

"It's great to be at home in front of your home fans and start the season in this way, everybody together.

"Let your voices be heard."

Standing in the way of Darren and a winning start? Bolton Wanderers.

"I'm expecting a team, under Phil Parkinson's guidance, to be organised and professional," added Darren.

"They'll work hard and will carry a threat.

"Anything that's happened with them in pre-season has not been thought out. It's nothing to do with us.

"We know there's a team coming to The Hawthorns who will be difficult opponents."
