JACK Fitzwater was one of seven Baggies loanees to play on a busy weekend of Football League and non-league action.
The defender played an hour and scored the opening goal as Walsall were defeated 3-2 at home to AFC Wimbledon in a SkyBet League One clash.
In SkyBet League Two Kane Wilson completed 90 minutes and Kyle Edwards came on for the final 16 minutes as Exeter City drew 1-1 at Accrington Stanley.
Meanwhile in the same division Kyle Howkins played the full game and kept a clean sheet for Port Vale as they beat Checkatrade Trophy winners Lincoln City 1-0, and Tahvon Campbell made a late substitute appearance in Forest Green Rovers’ 1-0 win at rivals Cheltenham Town.
Elsewhere Dara O’Shea also kept a clean sheet as his Hereford side moved to within one more win of securing the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division title with a 1-0 victory at Bishop’s Stortford.
And in the same league Ethan Ross was in-between the sticks for Redditch United as they lost 2-1 away at St Neots Town.
