TONY Pulis says he will field a strong Albion side that will 'give it the best we've got' as Manchester City prepare to visit the Hawthorns in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday (ko 8pm).
The Baggies Head Coach admits the midweek clash will be a tough test, but believes his side have nothing to lose in their quest to reach the fourth round of the competition for the first time since 2014/15.
“I don’t think we’ve got anything to lose - City are on fire at the moment.
“Everybody expects them to be close to winning the league this year so it’ll be a tough game.
“We’ll put out a strong team, have a go at it and give it the best we've got.”
Giving cup competitions their best has been a trait of Tony Pulis' sides, with the gaffer reaching an FA Cup Final with Stoke City and a quarter final with the Baggies in 2015.
"We really want to do well in the two cup competitions this year," Tony continued.
"We've got a home tie, irrespective of who it's against.
"It's up to us to take the game to them.
"It'll be a great game for the supporters."
