TONY Pulis was pleased to see Albion keep West Ham’s aerial presence at bay during Saturday’s goalless draw with West Ham United.
The Baggies successfully dealt with the threat of Andy Carroll to ensure their unbeaten start to season at The Hawthorns continued.
He said: “It was a tough game today.
“There’s no easy games in the Premier League and we had to work really hard for everything.
“They’ve got some really good players and some really big players.
“Andy Carroll is a beast of a player and to come out with a clean sheet is first class.
“We have to do better in the final third though.
“We played well up to the edge of the box but we just let ourselves down with our final pass.”
