Pulis August MOTM

TONY Pulis has been shortlisted for August's Premier League Barclays Manager of the Month award.

The Albion head coach guided the club to two wins and a draw from the opening three league matches in the first month of the new 2017/18 season.

The Baggies triumphed 1-0 against AFC Bournemouth on the opening day before a 1-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor was followed up by a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City.

Albion's unbeaten start has seen Pulis nominated for the August honour alongside Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Jurgen Klopp and David Wagner.

Supporters can show their support and vote for the Baggies boss in the running for the Premier League award.

Voting is open now and closes at midnight on Monday, September 4.

Meanwhile, Albion youngster Kyle Edwards has been nominated for August's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who joined Exeter City on loan on transfer deadline day, lined up against Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers for the Baggies' Under-23 side this month.

The eight-player shortlist was selected by a panel of the Premier League Football Development Department after PL2 managers had nominated the best individual performance from each of their opponents during August.

Good luck, Tony and Kyle!
