ALBION’s youngsters recorded a resounding 4-1 victory at Newcastle United on Saturday.

The Baggies went in at the break 1-0 down after the hosts converted a penalty in the 19th minute.

However, Jamie Smith’s side responded emphatically and went on to score four goals in the second half.

Jamie Soule brought the scores level before Morgan Rogers’ clever finish from inside the penalty area edged Albion ahead.

Nick Clayton-Phillips smashed home a third with 20 minutes remaining, firing high into the roof of the net from a tight angle.

And the points were sealed two minutes from time when Rogers danced past four defenders and slotted the ball into the far corner from the edge of the box.

ALBION: Przybek, White, Martinez, Healy, Harmon, Chambers, Brown (Ojebode 88), Hall, Clayton-Phillips (Morrison 84), Rogers (Holsgrove 88), Soule.
