ALBION'S U18s went down 1-0 at Everton in an U18 Premier League Cup game on Saturday.

It was the first of three group stage fixtures, with matches against Derby County and Swansea City still remaining.

Albion were put under pressure in the first half but managed to keep it level up until the break.

Jamie Soule and Zak Brown both had chances to give the away side the lead in a much improved second period, but it was Everton who found a winner in the 90th minute.

Next up for the young Baggies is Manchester City at home in a return to their U18 Premier League North campaign this coming weekend.
