JAY Rodriguez reckons Albion can take confidence from their battling 3-2 defeat against Manchester City.
Rodriguez acknowledges the Baggies came up “the best team in the league”, but was heartened by the manner in which his side pushed the table leaders to the finish.
He said: “They’re the best team in the Premier League.
“The way they play, they always have so many options.
“The way they pressed the ball with intensity made it very difficult for us.
“They’re very difficult to play against.
“We’ve scored two goals against them so we can take confidence from that but there are plenty of things to work on.”
