Megson on his 'great relationship'

GARY Megson has paid tribute to his rapport with the Albion fans as he prepares to take charge of the Baggies at The Hawthorns for the first time in over a decade.

The Assistant Head Coach has been handling first-team affairs after the departure of former Head Coach Tony Pulis last week.

And Megson is looking forward to rekindling his relationship with the Baggies fans as he prepares to take to the dugout on Tuesday against Newcastle.

"I had a great relationship with the supporters when I was here before and enjoyed working here because of them.

"I liked the humour and the passion that they've got for it. They seemed to feed off myself and what I was doing on the touchline and I fed off them.

"It was a good relationship and it always will be regardless of what happens."
