"It's brilliant to see the girls getting involved at a young age"

WEST Bromwich Albion Women's Hannah Price and Antonia Smith paid a visit to The Albion Foundation's Player Development Centre Football Festival, to inspire the next generation of female footballers.

Held as part of Girls' Football Week, the festival brought all of the Foundation's PDC's together in an effort to get the youngsters playing competitive matches and improve their skills.

Offering words of wisdom and getting involved with sessions, the Albion duo liked what they saw.

"I've been really impressed, if I'm honest, I wasn't expecting it," said Price.

"It's brilliant to see that they're getting involved at a young age."

The number of girls in attendance for the tournament left a lasting impression on the duo.

"When I was younger there wasn't many opportunities like this for girls," said Smith.

"To see something like this is massive progression for womens' football."
