James McClean, Jonny Evans, Gareth McAuley and Chris Brunt have two crucial games coming up as they target a place at next summer’s FIFA World Cup.
McClean’s Republic of Ireland will have to overcome Denmark if they are to reach Russia.
Martin O’Neill’s men are in Copenhagen on Saturday night (ko 7.45pm) for the first leg before they welcome the Danes back to Dublin on Tuesday night for the second encounter (ko 7.45pm).
Meanwhile, Switzerland stand between Northern Ireland’s first World Cup finals appearance since 1986.
The Green and White Army host Switzerland in Belfast on Thursday night (ko 7.45pm) before travelling to Basel on Sunday evening for the second leg (ko 5pm).
Elsewhere, Matt Phillips has been named in the Scotland squad for their friendly with the Netherlands on Thursday night in Aberdeen (ko 7.45pm).
Grzegorz Krychowiak is away with Poland who have two friendlies against Uruguay on Friday evening (ko 6.45pm) and then Mexico on Monday night (ko 7.45pm).
Nacer Chadli has been called up by Belgium for their friendly with Mexico on Friday night (ko 7.45pm), while Salomon Rondon is also set to feature for Venezuela who face Iran in Arnhem on Monday night (ko 6.45pm).
Finally, Sam Field is away with England's U20s who will come up against Germany in Zwickau on Tuesday (ko 5pm).
