Key facts and figures below

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Arsenal have lost only one of their last 12 Premier League matches against the Baggies (W9, D2, L1).

The Gunners have scored in all 21 of their Premier League meetings with Albion.

The Baggies recorded a 2-1 victory over Arsenal last season at The Hawthorns. Olivier Giroud opened the scoring, before a Mikel Arteta own goal and a classy James Morrison volley secured three points for Tony Pulis’ men.

Both teams have scored in eight of the ten Premier League matches at The Hawthorns between Albion and Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger has won just one of his seven away games against a Tony Pulis side. Arsenal have lost four, drawn two, scored eight and conceded 12 when visiting the Welshman’s teams.

The Baggies have won just one point from their nine games against the seven sides above them in the league table - losing seven in a row since a home draw with Spurs in October.

Pulis’ men have won seven of their last nine league matches at The Hawthorns. However, they are vying to avoid consecutive home defeats for the first time since last April.

The Baggies have been sitting eighth in the Premier League since matchweek 19.
