Striker in South American World Cup qualifying action
SALOMON Rondon played 90 minutes as his Venezuela side were pegged back by Peru in South American World Cup qualifying.
The hosts had raced into a 2-0 lead at half-time thanks to goals from Mikel Villanueva and Romulo Otero, however, Peru recovered after the restart and snatched a share of spoils following Andre Carrillo and Paolo Guerrero strikes.
The result means Venezuela, who travel to Chile on Tuesday night, stay bottom of the qualifying section.
