ALBION NEWS: And we were singing…

We haven’t got a levee. Can we drive the Chevy to the cut?

ALBION News returns for the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday and we include a chat with Chairman John Williams who reflects on his first seven months at the helm at The Hawthorns and looks forward to the challenges of the future.

James Morrison goes under the spotlight as we grill him on his 300 appearances for the Throstles and his targets for the future. And we get him to recreate another album cover, but this time on our inside pages…

Speaking of covers, we feature a special effort across our Big Picture feature featuring two Albion men joining The Vamps for the day after they visited us at the training ground.

We look back at last weekend’s beating of Bournemouth with an in depth match report and get the reflections of Darren Fletcher on the game. Meanwhile, Tony Pulis is very much focused on keeping the foo hard down on the accelerator as Big Sam brings his team to town.

Saturday is our Kick It Out day and to celebrate that, we look back exactly 39 years to the day, when Laurie Cunningham, Cyrille Regis and Brendon Batson all played together for the first time.

Our “History of the Albion In 10 Objects” features one of Laurie’s match shirts and we pit a vintage Cunningham Q&A against the answers of Marc Wilson.

John Wile is the Albion skipper under the microscope this week, we look back at the day when Manchester United visited The Hawthorns for an emotional cup tie in the wake of the Munich disaster and Tony Brown picks two Crystal Palace teas for the ages.

All this and plenty more in Albion News. You know it makes sense.
