Young keepers prepare for loan showdown

Palmer and Ross go head-to-head at Aggborough

GOALKEEPERS Alex Palmer and Ethan Ross have agreed new loan deals – and will begin them in direct opposition at Aggborough tomorrow.

Palmer has recently been on Premier League duty as understudy to Ben Foster while senior keeper Boaz Myhill was recovering from an ankle strain.

But with Myhill now fit again, the 20-year-old is heading back to Kidderminster Harriers where his 2017 will start with a Vanarama Northern League derby against a Worcester City team featuring 19-year-old Ross.

That match goes ahead at Aggborough on Sunday at 3pm for Baggies fans wanting to check on our young goalkeeping talent. Both stoppers will remain with their respective loan clubs until the end of the season.
