Five other Baggies in weekend action

TYLER Roberts was once again on target as Shrewsbury Town boosted their Sky Bet League One survival hopes with a 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon at New Meadow.

The Baggies youngster fired in a 25-yard free kick, with Aristote Nsiala securing three points for the Shrews in the final minute.

In the Championship, Sebastien Pocognoli played 90 minutes as Brighton and Hove Albion returned to the top of the table with a 2-0 win at Barnsley. Callum McManaman was an unused substitute in Sheffield Wednesday's win at Nottingham Forest.

Shaun Donnellan played the full 90 as his Dagenham and Redbridge side missed the chance to close the gap on Vanarama National League leaders Lincoln City after a home defeat to Guiseley.

In the National League North, both Alex Palmer and Ethan Ross played 90 minutes for Kidderminster Harries and Worcester City respectively. Both suffered 2-1 home defeats. Chay Tilt also featured for City, playing just under 15 minutes.
