Foster hails 'brilliant' Morrison

And Baggies stopper wants more Premier League points

BAGGIES keeper Ben Foster saluted James Morrison's performance in Albion's 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Morrison made a scoring return to his old stomping ground and Foster was quick to heap praise on the veteran midfielder.

"Mozza has been brilliant for us.

"He's come back into the team in the last couple of months and been absolutely fantastic.

"He deserved his goal and you could see what it meant by the reaction of the lads when they mobbed him."

1-0 up after just six minutes, it looked like Albion would cruise to victory on Teesside, but Foster thought the penalty awarded to Middlesbrough changed the course of the game.

"It was a funny game. We were flying early on and got the early goal.

"But the penalty made it a totally different game. It became end to end and really hard fought.

"On the balance of play I think we'd say we deserved the win, but you shouldn't turn your nose up at a point on the road."

And that away point moved Tony Pulis' side onto 33 point from 23 games, sitting in eight position in the Premier League.

"It's not a bad place to be!" said Foster.

"We've got a couple more games coming up that we'd like to think we can get some points from."
