‘We need the fans more than ever’ - Pardew

ALAN Pardew has appealed to the Albion faithful to help his team break their barren run at The Hawthorns on Boxing Day.

A frustrated Baggies outfit take on Everton after enduring yet more misfortune as a dominant performance came to nothing at Stoke on Saturday.

Pardew was heartened by the positive reception his players received despite the 3-1 defeat at their Midlands rivals.
And he is hoping that can be extended to all corners of The Hawthorns on Tuesday (ko 3pm).

“I spoke about the fans at half-time because they like us would’ve been wondering how on Earth we were losing the game 2-0,” said Pardew.

“We had to show them that we were up for the fight and I think we did that. They were obviously disappointed at the finish but it was good to see them give the players a positive reaction.

“That was really appreciated and now we need them more than ever.

“We need to get our stadium rocking against Everton because that might just be the difference that gets us out of this terrible run.”
