Moore joins Pardew coaching staff

ALAN Pardew is planning no further changes to his support staff after confirming Darren Moore will continue as a first team coach at least until the end of the season.

Pardew says he has been impressed by the popular former central defender’s input since adding Moore to his backroom team following his appointment last month.

Albion’s Head Coach, who also has his former Newcastle assistant John Carver working alongside him, says: “I have known Darren for a while but this has been my first opportunity to work with him and I have been very impressed with what he has brought to the group.

“He is well respected in the dressing room and we have given him specific duties which he has taken on very well.

“I am not thinking of making any other changes before the end of the season.

“I am not looking to put a label on Darren but he will be working as a first team coach.”

Moore had been working as the Club’s Professional Development Phase coach before being asked to join the senior coaching duties by the new Head Coach.
