'It's a very important point' - Hegazi

AHMED Hegazi was delighted with Albion’s performance as they earned a very creditable 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night.

The defender was an integral part of the Baggies defence that kept Jurgen Klopp’s attacking talent at bay as they earned their second clean sheet in three matches under Alan Pardew.

“It’s a very important point for us,” said the Egyptian.

“Now we must build on this, and I’m looking forward to the next game.

“Whenever we keep a clean sheet it’s good for us, and when you play against a very good team and very good players you must be happy with it.

“Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the Premier League this season and we played well against him.

“He is very, very good but I’m happy he didn't score today!”
