Pulis reacts to Accrington victory

TONY Pulis hailed his players' "first class" attitude after his side booked their place in the Carabao Cup Third Round with a 3-1 win at Accrington Stanley.

Salomon Rondon, Matt Phillips and Jay Rodriguez were on target on a night where the Baggies could have had six or seven.

"It's a tough place to come," said Pulis.

"It's so far away from what the players experience week-in week-out in the Premier League.

"I thought the attitude was first class."

And the Albion Head Coach was pleased that a number of his first-team stars got their first minutes of the season, including Nacer Chadli and James Morrison.

"I was pleased that James Morrison got some game time for the first time this season.

"We're pleased that all of them have come through the game and we've won it in the way we've won it."
