FIVE Albion players featured for their teams in a busy weekend of action, with Shaun Donnellan playing 90 minutes in Walsall’s creditable 1-1 draw at Portsmouth.
The SkyBet League One side are so far undefeated when Donnellan has been in the line-up, and they currently sit 12th in the table on four points from three games.
Jack Fitzwater was substituted at half time for League Two team Forest Green Rovers as they came from 3-1 down to dramatically take all three points in a 4-3 thriller at The New Lawn. The win was the Gloucestershire Club’s first since being promoted into the Football League.
Elsewhere Tahvon Campbell played a full game as Solihull Moors lost 1-0 at home to Halifax in the National League, Ethan Ross was in-between the sticks for Southern League Premier side Redditch United as they overcame Farnborough 3-1 and goalkeeper Jasko Keranovic kept a clean sheet in Alvechurch’s 2-0 win over Hanley Town in the FA Cup Preliminary Qualifying Round.
