Panoramic disability footballers rewarded for charity efforts
TWO of the Albion Foundation’s panoramic disability footballers have been treated to a day at the Baggies Training Ground as a reward for their charity efforts.
Josh Naif and Tom Chambers raised money for the Club’s official charity partner by taking part in the ‘Beat the Bird’ fundraiser challenge.
The fundraising football fanatics were given a tour, watched their heroes train and even had dinner in the canteen with the first team players.
Disability Coach Laura Marriott explained how the money the pair raised will benefit the Foundation.
“It goes towards keeping the costs of what we do down to a minimum and ensures they can keep participating at a really low cost.
“It’s been brilliant to have them come down today, they’ve been buzzing for weeks about it.”
