Callum Morton on target for Baggies
ALBION’s Premier League 2 side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Monday night.
Kane Wilson, Sam Field and Jonathan Leko all completed 90 minutes but the trio were unable to prevent the Baggies slipping to a loss in Lancashire.
Following a tight first-half the hosts went ahead on 57 minutes when Anthony Stokes found the far corner after being played through on goal.
The forward then grabbed his and Rovers’ second seven minutes later, diverting Daniel Butterworth’s shot into the net at the back post.
Callum Morton's assured finish with five minutes left gave the Baggies hope but they were unable to find an equaliser, returning home with nothing to show for their efforts.
