Football world shocked by defender’s sudden death

WEST Bromwich Albion is shocked and saddened by the sudden death of former England defender Ugo Ehiogu, who started his career at The Hawthorns.

Ehiogu made two first team appearances at the dawn of a career that saw him go on to represent Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Leeds and Rangers while winning four caps for his country.

The football world was left stunned on learning that Ugo passed away in the early hours of today after suffering a heart attack at Tottenham’s training ground where he worked as U23s coach.
