Press Pass returns against West Ham

Partnership between Albion Foundation and media team is back

Press Pass returns for Albion’s Premier League fixture against West Ham United at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

The exciting partnership between The Albion Foundation and Albion’s media team starts its second season and enables young, budding reporters to watch home matches from the press balcony - rubbing shoulders with professional sports reporters.

After being privy to post-match interviews, the young writers then have to produce either a creative response detailing their experience or a match report from the point of view of a 14–19-year-old. When the standard is high, articles are then published via a variety of media outlets.

Saturday's fixture against the Hammers will be reported on by Junior Assembly members Ellie Griffiths and Jake Morris. Ellie and Jake are just two of 15 Junior Assembly members who are providing the football club with invaluable insight.

The Junior Assembly has already begun to scrutinise the matchday experience at The Hawthorns and its members were instrumental in providing feedback to the new internal and external decoration. They already have many more ideas which will be listened to by senior club officials over the coming months.

We look forward to welcoming Ellie and Jake to Press Pass on Saturday.
