Baggies winger enjoys run-out in Dublin
JAMES McClean completed the second-half of the Republic of Ireland’s routine 4-0 friendly victory over Oman on Wednesday night.
The winger replaced ex-Albion forward Shane Long at the break in a match which saw Robbie Keane make his final international appearance.
Keane was on the scoresheet at the Aviva Stadium along with Robbie Brady and Jon Walters who found the back of the net twice.
McClean and his nation now face Serbia in their opening World Cup Group D qualifying match in Belgrade on Monday night (ko 7.45pm).
