Summer signing has his say on comfortable Hammers win
NACER Chadli spoke to the media following Saturday’s 4-2 win over West Ham United at The Hawthorns.
Here’s what the Belgian, who scored two and made the other two goals, had to say.
On the performance...
"When you go 4-0 up against West Ham you know it’s been a great performance.
"After that we conceded two goals but I think we deserved our win and I am really pleased for the team.
"We worked very hard for this win."
On the penalty...
"The ball was right in front of me and I grabbed it.
"I wanted to take it."
On the fourth goal...
"I saw Salomon going through and I tried to catch up with him.
"He is very fast so I had to give it my all.
"He saw me at the last moment and he gave me the ball so that was very nice."
On his substitution...
"There was no injury.
"I just had a little bit of cramp.
"I couldn’t run anymore and we needed a fresh player on the pitch."
