INTERNATIONALS: 10 Baggies stars to represent nations

Host of senior players away during October break

AS many as 10 senior Albion players will represent their nations during the October international break.

Captain Darren Fletcher and fellow midfielder James Morrison are in the Scotland squad for their World Cup qualifying double-header against Lithuania and Slovakia in Group F.

The Scots face Lithuania at Hampden Park on Saturday (ko 7.45pm) before travelling to Trnava to tackle Slovakia on Tuesday (ko 7.45pm).

Defensive duo Jonny Evans and Gareth McAuley will also be in World Cup qualifying action for Northern Ireland.

They have two fixtures in Group C, starting with San Marino in Belfast on Saturday night (ko 7.45pm) before a clash with world champions Germany in Hannover on Tuesday (ko 7.45pm).

Forward Hal Robson-Kanu has been called up by Wales and will hope to feature in their two Group D World Cup qualifying matches.

His national side face Austria in Vienna on Thursday night (ko 7.45pm) before welcoming Georgia to Cardiff on Sunday evening (ko 5pm).

In the same group, James McClean has kept his regular place in the Republic of Ireland squad for their games against Georgia in Dublin on Thursday (ko 7.45pm) and then Moldova in Chisinau on Sunday evening (ko 7.45pm).

Nacer Chadli has regained his spot in the Belgium squad having impressed at Albion after arriving from Spurs in August.

Chadli, who last represented his country in March against Portugal, will link-up with the Red Devils for their Group H World Cup qualifying clashes with Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels on Friday (ko 7.45pm) and Gibraltar in the Algarve on Monday night (ko 7.45pm).

Full-back Allan Nyom has been included in the Cameroon squad for their African World Cup qualifier against Algeria in Blida on Sunday night (ko 8.30pm).

Salomon Rondon will be looking to lift Venezuela off the foot of the South American World Cup qualifying table.

His side face Uruguay in Montevideo at midnight on Thursday before coming up against Brazil in Merida on Wednesday morning (ko 1.30am).

Finally, Brendan Galloway has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for their Euro Qualifying double-header.

The Three Lions travel to Kazakhstan on Thursday (ko 4pm) before hosting Bosnia and Herzegovina in Walsall on Tuesday (ko 3pm).
