Fans' Champion for Man City visit

Dave Holloway handed Hawthorns honour

ALBION's Fans' Champion for Saturday's clash with Manchester City in the Premier League will be - Dave Holloway.

A huge Albion fan and member of the Albion Assembly, Dave as been working tirelessly for 33 seasons organising coach travel to all WBA away games for the fans.

Nominated by fellow fans Glen Turner and Helen Allport, 'Mr Away Day' has organised travel for over 660 Baggies fixtures.

Dave will be given the honour of signalling the countdown to kick-off against Pep Guardiola's side by stepping on to the hallowed Hawthorns turf and delivering the matchball to the plinth.

And Glen highlighted what an asset Dave had been to the club he has followed for so many years.

"He is a credit to the club and is well deserving of this recognition."

We want to hear from you if you think there's someone who deserves the honour.

Perhaps it's a friend or family member who has shown incredible devotion to the cause. Perhaps it's a supporter who combines passion for the Baggies with a big heart for their community.
