Rondon eyes fruitful November

And Baggies striker happy to end winless run

SALOMON Rondon expressed his delight at Albion's response to back-to-back defeats after their 2-1 win against Leicester City on Sunday.

Goals from James Morrison and Matt Phillips gave the Baggies victory at the King Power Stadium.

And Rondon highlighted the importance of getting back on track in the Premier League after defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City.

"It was a good win for us.

"The last two weeks we were beaten by very big teams.

"But we responded well with a good performance and three points."

Including draws against Stoke, Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur, Albion's winless run had stretched to five games.

But after beating the Champions, Rondon wants to kick on and focus on the fixtures ahead.

"It was important for us because we didn't win in October.

"The victory at Leicester gives us a really good start to the month and a chance to move up the table after the international break."

And the Baggies number nine says Albion will be looking at the next three games as a chance to do just that.

"Every game in the Premier League is difficult.

"But we'll be looking at the next three games as a real opportunity for points, starting with Burnley at home."
