Important information ahead of Leicester fixture

Poppy Appeal and travel details

ALBION fans are being asked to play their part to help football affirm its support for the Remembrance season.

More than 2,000 Baggies fans will help pack out the King Power Stadium for Sunday’s clash against Leicester City which will be preceded by a Poppy-day commemoration.

Leicester have arranged for red, white and black bags to be situated at every seat in the stadium.

At the playing of the Last Post  during the minute’s silence before kick off, all fans are being asked to hold the bags aloft to create a striking visual salute.

The travelling Baggies fans are urged to be at their seats in good time to play their part in the ceremony.

Albion will again wear poppies on their shirts for the club's closest fixture to Armistice Day.

Important travel information

British Transport Police have arranged for a special train of five carriages to leave Leicester at 19.10 on a non-stop trip back to Birmingham.

However, fans intending to catch this special service are advised it may leave earlier if all the carriages are full.
