Champions set for Brighton challenge
Sporting Club Albion Ladies will take on Brighton and Hove Albion in a winner-takes-all play-off decider later this month.
Graham Abercrombie’s outfit, who secured the Premier League Northern Division title with a 4-1 win over Bradford City on Sunday, need only one more win to earn the right to apply for a place in the Women’s Super League next season.
Albion have lost only three games this campaign but must now overcome the Southern Division champions at Adam’s Park - the home of Wycombe Wanderers – on Sunday, May 29.
SCA Ladies won the Birmingham County Cup last month and also reached the quarter-finals of the Women’s FA Cup earlier this season.
