Soccer Saturday host to visit The Hawthorns

Sky Sports anchor to be joined by ex-Albion players

ALBION fans, keep your eyes peeled this Saturday - you might just see a few familiar faces on your travels.

Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling will be joined by a couple of Albion faces from the past as he continues his marathon walk.

The Sky Sports anchorman is walking seven marathons in seven days, with Saturday marking Day Six, and the West Midlands leg of his journey.

Starting at Molineux, Jeff and his crew will leave Wolverhampton, wander to Walsall, before weaving their way to West Bromwich at at around 1.30pm.

They will be greeted at The Hawthorns by the Albion Foundation and Club staff.

After a brief pit-stop, the walkers will alight at Aston Villa before strolling the final leg to St Andrew's.

Joining Jeff on the walk will be a crew of 50 other walkers, including former Albion players Ian Hamilton and Daryl Burgess.

All proceeds from #JeffsMarch are going towards prostate cancer.

Hamilton, who made 240 appearances and scored 23 goals for Albion between 1992 and '98, said: "It's an honour and a privilege to be involved in this great cause.

"All of us are touched by cancer in some way - with prostate cancer one that many men will relate to.

"Jeff is a well-known face to many and I hope people will support this cause in one way or another."
