Baggies winger opens scoring
STEPHANE Sessegnon scored Benin’s opening goal in their 2-1 victory over South Sudan in a 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Wednesday.
The Baggies winger struck after just 16 minutes in Juba, before his nation wrapped up the points by adding a second goal with 15 minutes left.
The hosts pulled one back late on but it wasn’t enough to prevent Sessegnon and Benin climbing to the top of Group C.
The two sides meet again on Sunday in Cotonou, Benin.
