Chester reaches Euro 2016 semi-final

Wales beat Belgium in Lille

ALBION defender James Chester is just one game away from the Euro 2016 final after Wales produced a brilliant display to beat Belgium in Lille.

Chester’s side claimed a deserved 3-1 victory over the highly-fancied Belgians to set up a semi-final showdown with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal on Wednesday, July 6 in Lyon.

Radja Nainggolan blasted Belgium ahead but goals from Ashley Williams, Hal Robson-Kanu and Sam Vokes secured a first ever last four spot at a major tournament for the Welsh Dragons.

Chris Coleman’s men become the first debutants at the European Championships to reach the semi-finals since Sweden in 1992.

Everyone at West Bromwich Albion would like to congratulate James on his terrific performance and also wish him luck for Wednesday night’s clash.
