LOAN WATCH: Campbell notches first professional goal

Five other Albion youngsters in action

TAHVON Campbell scored his first professional goal on Saturday afternoon, netting Yeovil Town’s second in their 2-1 win over Crawley Town in Sky Bet League Two.

The 19-year-old forward, who replaced Jack Compton in the 56th minute at Huish Park, spectacularly curled the ball into the far corner from the edge of the penalty area after 77 minutes to make the score 2-0.

Fellow forward Andre Wright completed just under an hour of Torquay United’s 2-0 home defeat to Gateshead in the Vanarama National League.

The Baggies frontman was replaced by Shaun Harrad with his side already trailing 2-0.

Trio Ethan Ross, Shaun Donnellan and George Cleet helped Worcester City to a 3-2 win at AFC Fylde in the Vanarama National League North.

Goalkeeper Ross and defender Donnellan, who was utilised further forward in midfield on Saturday, both completed the full 90 minutes, while centre-half Cleet was substituted well into the second period.

In the same division, there was disappointment for young Albion defender Jack Fitzwater who was playing for Hednesford Town at Boston United.

The centre-back was dismissed in the 79th minute after picking up a second yellow card, however the decision may yet still be rescinded.

The Staffordshire outfit lost the game 3-1.
