Albion cut prices for FA Cup clash

Pulis calls for another bumper following

ALBION have again cut admission prices for the FA Cup as they prepare to face Peterborough at The Hawthorns.

The fourth round tie against the League One outfit was booked with the 1-0 victory over Bristol City in the third round replay at Ashton Gate.

And the Club swiftly announced a repeat of the third round ticket prices of £10 (adults) and £5 (under 17s) for a tie booked in for the weekend of January 30.

Season ticket holders can now purchase their seat either online, via phone (0121 227 2227) or by person at ticket office from 10am today.

Smethwick End season ticket holders need to relocate to other areas of the stadium as Peterborough have taken their 15 per cent entitlement.

Season ticket holders have until 1pm Wednesday January 27 to claim their seats.

Due to the timescales involved all seats that are not pending renewal will also be available today on a general sale basis.

With the home tie against Bristol City drawing a near-25,000 crowd Albion are hoping for another bumper response from the fans.

"I can’t praise the supporters enough,” said Head Coach Tony Pulis after the replay victory.

"We’ve had three away games on the spin and they’ve been with us every step of the way.

"It was a freezing night, the game was on TV and they could have stayed at home to watch it. But they took all our tickets and they need to know how much the staff and the players really appreciate this backing.

"Now I’m hoping for another big day at The Hawthorns for the fourth round. It’s the greatest Cup competition in the world and I really want us to do well in it."
