Pulis pleased to claim 'fantastic' win

Victory leaves Albion on 32 points

TONY Pulis claims Albion's victory at Goodison Park was the perfect antidote to the reverse fixture at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 against Everton at the start of the season.

Pulis was pleased to come out with a win.

Speaking about the win, Pulis said:
Two things - firstly it's nice to win at Everton because at our place we were 2-0 up and they beat us 3-2. We played well that day and I was pig sick that day so it was nice to get one back on them.
Also, in the game itself we were resilient. We had to defend for our lives, but we have to remember Everton had a free midweek after a great result at Stoke.
To go to Everton and get a result was fantastic, especially after 120 minutes and penalties against Peterborough.

The win leaves Albion on 32 points. Pulis added:
We want 40 points. It's not worrying about others, it's about getting 40 points ourselves.
We need to wash our mind away from it. If we get those points, brilliant. Too many people worry about others and what other people are doing in this country.
