Under 18 side snatch late draw at Sunderland

Two late goals earn youngsters 2-2 draw

TWO goals in the last five minutes saw Albion's under-18 side fight back from 2-0 down to snatch a point away at Sunderland.

Rahis Nabi and Jordan Piggott were on target as Jamie Smith's side remain in tenth place, five points clear of local rivals Wolves.

The hosts found themselves 1-0 up at the break and extended their lead early in the second half.

But Albion were given a glimmer of hope when Nabi converted from the spot with five minutes remaining.

And as the Baggies looked to be heading for a defeat, Piggott was on hand to bring to scores level.

Albion's youngsters are next in action against Yeovil Town in the FA Youth Cup on December 6.

ALBION: House, Meredith, O'Shea, Piggott, Melbourne, Bradley (Clayton-Phillips 65), Dool, Nabi, Harper (Forss 45), Morrison (Soleman 83), Pierce.

Subs: Pryzbek, Artymatas.
